♥Review: Jewelove Circle Lens♥

Product Name: Jewelove Circle Lens in Ruby Brown
BC: 8.7MM
Price: ~¥3900 for both sides (L+R)
Rating: ★★★★☆

This was my first circle lens purchase in Japan. Prior to moving here I had bought circle lenses off the internet, but now that I'm in Japan, my nearest Don Quijote has more brands and sizes in stock compared to the ones you find online. One of my biggest dilemmas when ordering online was that they rarely (or never, rather) had my BC. They always had 8.6, which always makes my eyes super uncomfortable. I know how important BC is when wearing contacts, because if you wear something that doesn't fit the curve of your eyes, you could eventually go blind (according to professionals). Not to mention, when I wear ones that don't fit, they make my eyes super red and that can't be good. So, after searching through Donqui's extensive selection, I was able to find a few makers that actually provided my BC size. This brand happened to be the cheapest, and since I wasn't sure if I would actually wear them a lot, I decided to buy this brand because they last up to a year. I am interested in dailies, but they are about double the price for a box of 30 (one month's worth).

After trying these, I have to say that my eyes are unfortunately not suited for circle lenses, but I can bear to wear these for a short period of time. They especially seem to irritate my eyes when I wear them with falsies... anyway, here is a pic of my eye before and after:
And this is what the packaging looks like:
Don't mind the power, I know I have really bad eyesight ><;;
These are much thinner than normal contacts that you get prescribed from your doctor, so it's a bit more difficult to put on or to even pick up with your finger. They are so delicate it feels like I might rip them if I'm not careful. I do like the color, though, because it's a natural brown and my friends didn't notice that I was wearing anything. Next, I'd like to try a grey or hazel green or even black.

♥Review: Diamond Lash in Glamorous Eye♥

Product Name: Diamond Lash in Glamorous Eye
Price: ~¥1100 for 5 pairs
Rating: ★★★★★

My first lash review! Normally, these lashes are around 1,100~1,200 yen for 5 pairs, which is roughly 200 yen per pair and is insanely cheap for such high quality lashes. Of course, because they're cheap, when you wear them it's pretty obvious that you're wearing falsies, but if you like the gyaru look then these are your best friend. I've tried two different styles from this brand so far, and I have to say I really love this Glamorous Eye version and the Dolly Eye version, because this one gives me a sharper look which is good for cat makeup and rock style. The Dolly Eye version looks very natural but also gives you that added definition.

I really got a good deal on these, since I saw them on sale at Shimamura for 880 yen, which is even cheaper than usual (probably the cheapest ever). I like looking in Shimamura for these lashes because from time to time they have them for this cheap.

Me with the diamond lashes on (no circle lenses)
Honestly, these look much better with circle lenses on, but as my eyes are pretty sensitive, I can't wear circle lenses everyday and for long periods of time, so sometimes I go out with just falsies. In this pic I'm wearing both upper and lower falsies, the lower being the Dolly Wink brand produced by Tsubasa Masuwaka.

I give these lashes 5 stars for it's quality and price, and also the fact that they can last a long time if taken care of. They are also the perfect size for my eyes, which was a big factor because I have purchased upper lashes from the Dolly Wink line and have found that they look super unnatural and weird on my eyes.... I guess I could just trim them but it's too much work and they are much more expensive than this brand.
